Breeding Goals

Health

The Wolven Gazehound is first and foremost a companion dog, and it is a priority that your best friend and family member has the longest, healthiest life possible. Each foundation dog is evaluated for health concerns in their breeds or mixes.

Temperament

Nature and nurture both play a role in developing the temperament of a dog. Breeding dogs are chosen to best represent the temperament desired in the Wolven Gazehound. All puppies are raised on Puppy Culture, which provides socialization and communication skills to young puppies so they can reach their full potential.

Appearance

Maintaining and improving the physical characteristics that define the breed is important to the development of the Wolven Gazehound. Breeding dogs are chosen not only by their own characteristics but the characteristics of their relatives and ancestors.
